prodotti details
A cool damp summer was fortunately followed by a perfect dry September with temperatures above the norm and significant differences in temperature between day and night, allowing the development of aromas and sugar content.
The Gambero Rosso guide writes that “it is difficult to choose between Gattinara and Ghemme 2004, given that the particular climatic conditions have given rise to two completely different but equally intriguing wines. The Gattinara is certainly more incisive both in terms of bouquet and flavour.” Given that we consider our Ghemme 2004 to be one of our greatest wines, this is a compliment indeed.
