GHEMME DOCG – 2010

prodotti details

In 2010, the cool winter was followed by a spring with heavy rain, allowing the foliage to develop normally. The grapes were harvested at the usual time, with a good level of maturation, both in terms of polyphenols and sugar content.

This was a good vintage which gave rise to a Ghemme of definite calibre with an interesting character. It has a tonic bouquet with notes of mature and cooked fruit, raspberry, blackcurrant, and dried flowers. The wine is spicy and delicately toasted, with a clear minerality of steel and rock. In the mouth it is balanced but full of complexity.
